Abby’s Senior Photos

It’s hard to believe this beauty is about to start her Senior Year in High School!  I’ve been photographing Abby and her family for several years.  She’s literally grown up before my eyes.  I can guarantee our shoots will be filled with laughter and Abby struggling to make her “serious, hard core model face.”  She has the best laughing face and there’s no containing it.  Here’s to a great Senior year of cross country and track as she takes her next steps on her journey into adulthood.  Congrats Abby and thanks for making my job so easy with your beautiful self, on the outside and the inside too.

Little Abby about 4 years ago.

Congrats to Bryce

It doesn’t seem possible that this guy is graduating from high school.  For years I watched as he ran up and down the sideline while his dad coached or his brother played ball.  Then I watched as my kids ran up and down the sideline while he played.  It is true that time flies by so quickly.  Our family loves this kid and his family and could not be more proud of Bryce.  He always has a smile on his face and is willing to do whatever is needed to help a friend or someone in need.  God has big plans for him and we can’t wait to keep cheering him on.  Congrats Bryce!!!

My Favorite Nurse

Do you have a High School or College Senior this year?  If so, I’d love to chat with you about their Senior Photos!  Purchasing photos through the school can be extremely expensive.  I offer affordable packages with a variety of options.  I really had a lot of fun during this shoot celebrating with my favorite JU Grad who now just happens to be my favorite nurse.  I love you Em and I’m so proud of all you’ve accomplished!!!

Congrats Corey!

We are so proud of Corey and all he has accomplished!  Watch out for him on the football field this fall at Mississippi State!!!  Corey is a great young man and now a graduate.  Best wishes and prayers for this next step in your journey.  God has big plans for this guy!!!

She’s All Grown Up!

When I came into the Chapman family, this girl was Parker’s age. It’s hard to believe she’s now a Senior and about to graduate from High School. She’s turned into a beautiful young woman. God is growing her and I know He has big things in store for her. Congrats Kathryne and the Class of 2016!!!

Shea for Pres

I don’t know if this guy will be President one day or what God has planned for his life.  But what I do know is that it will be major and huge and amazing.  He is talented, brilliant, funny, confident, and seeking the path that God would have for him as he makes some big decisions.  I’m excited to watch him on his journey as God continues to grow and mold him.  Thanks for always keeping it real and being true to who you are.  Like Dr. Seuss said, “Oh the places you will go…”  Have a great Senior year!!!

Our Athlete of the Year

It was a pleasure to hang out with this guy this week.  He may seem quiet and shy at first, but don’t let that fool you.  He has a sense of humor and quick wit that I’m sure has served him well as a student athlete.  He’s accomplished what many student athletes are unable to do.  He’s played two sports, football and baseball, throughout his childhood and teenage years.  Not only that, he’s excelled at both, earning himself the opportunity to continue his love of both games as a college athlete in both sports and being named Fletcher High School’s 2015 Athlete of the Year.  He’s also an active student in my husband’s ministry and serves his church each week as part of the sound and tech worship team.  I love me some Bernard boys, and especially their mama, and can’t wait to see where God takes this guy.  He makes me shake my head often, enjoys giving me a hard time, and he will be missed as he takes the next step in his journey.  The Chapman’s will be on the sideline, in one way or another, cheering you on.  God bless you Dylan!!!!

Congrats Grads!

It’s that time of year again.  Time for lots of changes, new chapters in journeys, transitions, tears, laughter, and parents trying to hold onto (or at least remember) their babies.  It’s graduation time!  I love getting to take pictures for local schools.  When my kids graduated from pre-school, it was a huge moment for our family.

Life changed as we knew it.  No more naps, no more singing “God Our Father” at lunch time as a class, and a lot of letting go (insert “Frozen” soundtrack).  I love watching my children grow and develop into who they will be as grown ups some day.  As I edited these pictures this week, I came to the realization that my daughter will graduate from high school in 10 years.  HOLY COW!  I can’t even talk about it without a melt down.

Time is my enemy and is stealing my babies away.  I just want to hold on so tight I could nearly smother them.  So I’m learning to be content in all things, including the stages of life we find ourselves in.  I have a 1, 6, and 8 year old.  Life is crazy and hectic, but it’s ours, and I love it.

But enough about me.  Congrats to the Class of 2015!!!  You’ve made it and “Oh the Places You Will Go”!!!  Enjoy these cutie pies as they transition to Kindergarten, the “big kid” class, and whatever else God may have in store for them this next year.  Many blessings class of 2015!

And God said, “Let her teach”!!

There’s always that one teacher that you never forget and that all the students love.  Ms. Allen has to be the one at her school!  She is beautiful, funny, and sweet. I really enjoyed getting to hang out with her as she celebrates graduating with her Master’s degree!  Such a big accomplishment, and so much to be proud of.  Congrats Ms. Allen, and thanks for taking on the task of developing little minds with love and kindness!!!
